Powers and Abilities

The Mandrill is a mutant and possesses a number of superhuman attributes. The Mandrill’s primary mutant power is the ability to secrete a powerful, odorless pheromone capable of affecting human females, leaving them extremely submissive and open to the Mandrill’s manipulations. The pheromones have a maximum effective range of 250 feet and are highly addictive, sufficiently so to effect a woman for several months at a time. Due to his simian physique, the Mandrill possesses the proportionate physical strength of an actual 270 pound Mandrill. At his peak, the Mandrill possesses low level superhuman strength sufficient to lift approximately 2,700 lbs.

The Mandrill can run and move at speeds that are slightly beyond the physical limits of the finest human athlete. At short sprints, he can reach speeds of up to 40 miles per hour. The Mandrill’s superior musculature produces less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of a normal human.

At his peak, he can exert himself for a period of several hours before the build up of fatigue toxins in his blood begins to impair him. The Mandrill’s bodily tissues are harder and more resistant to certain kinds of injury than those of a normal human, though he is far from invulnerable. The Mandrill’s body can withstand great impact forces. He can withstand impacts, such as falling from several stories or being repeatedly struck by a superhumanly strong opponent, that would severely injure or kill a normal human with little to no injury to himself. However, he can be injured by bullets or bladed weapons composed of conventional material as easily as normal humans. The Mandrill had the agility, balance, and bodily coordination of a great ape. His agility is beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete. The Mandrill’s reflexes are similarly enhanced and are superior to those of the finest human athlete.

Что касается интеграции, она и правда осуществляется достаточно просто, следует только правильно использовать обозначения. К тому же, в любой момент можно внести изменения в интерфейс, который прост и удобен. Отсутствуют сложные системы ввода.

Uses

Mandrels are also used in industrial composite fabrication such as in filament winding. During the manufacturing process, resin-impregnated filaments are wound around a mandrel to create a composite material structure or part. The structure is cured and the mandrel is removed. One problem with this type of process is that the mandrel can be very difficult to remove once the part has been cured. As a result, engineers have created a new type of mandrel that has the ability to change shape and be easily extracted. When heated above a certain temperature, the mandrel becomes elastic and can be manipulated into the desired shape and then cooled to become rigid again in the new shape. It can then be used in the filament winding process. Once the composite part is cured, the mandrel can be reheated until elastic and easily removed from the cured part. These types of mandrels can be used repeatedly.

In the production of steel core used for flexible drives, the centre wire upon which the subsequent layers are wound is referred to as a Mandrel. This «centre wire» may itself be composed of either a single wire or layers, depending on the sizing of the finished product.

A hole saw usually attaches to a mandrel, the latter being basically a drill bit with threads to secure the saw.

Ареал

Ареал — влажные экваториальные леса Камеруна, Габона, Республики Конго. От Атлантического побережья — 100—300 км. Часто обитают в скалистых районах. Территория обитания мандрилов пересекается с ареалом других видов обезьян.

В условиях неволи мандрил часто скрещивается с дрилом (M. leucophaeus). Гибридная природа некоторых особей мандрилов, содержащихся в зоопарках, была подтверждена с помощью анализа митохондриальной ДНК. The Mandrill is a mutant who exudes pheromones that give him the chemically-based ability to attract and enslave women. Certain women of heightened willpower can resist his control. A mild electrical shock can release victims from his control. His power is ineffective against males.

He also has superhuman strength, speed, agility, dexterity, flexibility, reflexes, coordination, balance and endurance comparable to that of a great ape. He is also a skilled acrobat and hand-to-hand combatant.

Mandrill has above normal intelligence and is a gifted planner and strategist.

In at least one instance, the Mandrill used technological means to alter and augment his power so that the sight of him mesmerized the male Thing.[volume & issue needed]

Использование, АРI

Для отправки сообщений предусмотрены два метода: простой – SMTP, распространённый в большинстве почтовых сервисов протокол отправки сообщений, и сложный – через интерфейс программирования API.

Взаимодействие Мадрилла с Интерфейсом осуществляется на языке РНР. Поэтому библиотека берётся непосредственно с нужного раздела на сайте. После скачивания и распаковки нужно найти каталог с названием «scr», содержащий информацию, нужную для библиотеки.

При запуске APIсистема потребует ввод ключа. Получить его можно при условии, если пользователь уже зарегистрирован. Тогда в пункте «Настройки», разделе «API ключ» можно его обнаружить.

Затем создаётся подаккаунт. С этой целью в этом же меню выбирается пункт «Исходящие», потом: «создать субаккаунт».

Для этого существует понятная структура введения команд в строку.

Если есть необходимость создать шаблон, то в меню, в пункте «Исходящих», выбирается команда «Создать шаблон».

Здесь всплывает графа, в которую вводится название образца, затем жмётся кнопка «Начать кодирование».

После этого, в окне представляются поля к заполнению. Справа видно большое окно, куда вводится исходный код для отправки сообщения.

Нужно проследить, чтоб язык ввода был выбран именно HTML. И когда всё заполнено, остаётся нажать на команду «публикация» и просмотреть образец сообщения, готового к отправке.

Variants

An example of one type of mandrel is a shaped bar of metal inserted in, or next to, an item to be machined or bent in a certain pattern, e.g. in tube drawing. Exhaust pipes for automobiles are frequently bent using a mandrel during manufacture. The mandrel allows the exhaust pipes to be bent into smooth curves without undesirable creasing, kinking, or collapsing. Molten glass may be shaped in this way as well. Another example of this type of mandrel is found in jewelry manufacturing, where ring and bracelet mandrels are used to shape metal into a desired size and shape, using a tiny hammer to beat the metal against the mandrel. A type of mandrel is also used in making reeds for double reed instruments such as the bassoon or oboe.

Another type of mandrel is the chuck that a lathe uses to hold pieces of wood, metal or plastic to be machined as they are turned. In this way, rods can be threaded, furniture legs are turned to have æsthetic patterns, and irregularly-shaped objects can be given a round shape. There are several types of mandrels used with lathes. Original expanding mandrels have a slightly tapered wedge that will expand to hold the item.

The third type of mandrel discussed here is that which is used to hold circular saw blades, buffing wheels (used for polishing), and sanding discs onto drills, circular saws, and similar power tools. A mandrel of this type generally consists of a cylinder, threaded on one end, with a washer brazed onto the threaded end and an accompanying screw and second washer used to clamp the circular saw blade, sanding media, or other rotary tool onto the mandrel.

While most mandrels are driven by direct connection to an electric motor or engine, other mandrels are driven by attachment to a bearing-supported, pulley-driven shaft.

History

Mandrels are not recent inventions. Metal machining utilizing the spinning process has been recorded as far back as ancient Egyptian times. In metal spinning, a wood or metal spinning mandrel is used, the form of which corresponds with the internal contour of the part to be produced. This method securely clamps the raw material and allows for accurate machining into the desired final form. Since the material is clamped internally, there is no interference to the operator from the lathe/mandrel assembly during production.

Also, the traversing mandrel was introduced[where?] around 1700, and instantiated the design of a lathe mandrel able to slide axially in its bearings under the control of the operator, so that components having short lengths of thread could be produced, such as screws. The traversing mandrel was primarily employed by clockmakers and ornamental turners during this era. Eventually the device was superseded by a mandrel-driven device called a leadscrew, which uses a train of gears that can be altered as required for the turning application.

Mandrill appears in The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes voiced by Fred Tatasciore. In the episode «The Man in the Anthill,» he is shown as an inmate at the Big House. In the episode «The Breakout» Pt. 1, Mandrill is among the inmates that escape when a mass-breakout occurs. In the episode «Some Assembly Required,» the Avengers easily capture Mandrill following his attempted bank robbery. In the episode «The Man Who Stole Tomorrow,» Mandrill is shown to be imprisoned at Prison 42.

Video games

Mandrill is featured in the second season of Marvel: Avengers Alliance. In Chapter 6 of the «Globetrotting Mission,» it was mentioned that Mandrill was killed by the Circle of Eight when Nick Fury tells Hank Pym that Mandrill’s body was found.

Biography

Jerome Beechman was the mutant son of Frederic Beechman, an atomic research scientist at Los Alamos Atomic Proving Grounds, New Mexico, and his wife Emily. Prior to his conception, Beechman’s father, a Caucasian scientist, as well as Gemma Sinclair, a black cleaning woman, were exposed to a massive dose of radiation when faulty electrical wiring caused an explosion that breached the facility’s small experimental nuclear pile. A year later, the scientist’s son was born with black skin and tufts of body hair. Equally distressing to Gemma Sinclair and her husband was the birth of their daughter Nekra, who was born with chalky-white skin and fangs. The boy grew up hated by his peers and parents for his freakish appearance. When Beechman was ten, his father drove him out to the middle of the American desert and abandoned him. The boy swore to find his way back and exact revenge on his parents.

While in the desert, he encountered the Sinclairs’ mutant girl, Nekra, who had been similarly mistreated and was running away from home. The two became partners and wandered the Southwest, protecting one another and shunning all other human companionship, surviving by stealth and cunning. For six years, the two educated themselves by listening outside of schoolroom windows and reading stolen books. One night, angry New Mexican townspeople discovered them, having heard rumors about «monsters» invading their hometown, and attacked them with pitchforks and guns. That night, Beechman and Sinclair discovered that sheer hate released latent mutant powers within them, powers they used to slay their tormentors.

As his mutant powers surfaced, Beechman’s appearance became more apelike, prompting him to take the alias Mandrill. With Nekra’s aid, he developed plans for the overthrow of three small West African nations with the intent of creating a Utopian society, free from the American values which caused the two of them to be treated as outcasts. Their plan failed, however, when they were thwarted by the jungle adventurer Shanna the She-Devil. The villains escaped and, while doing so, they killed Gerald O’Hara, Shanna’s father.

Mandrill and Nekra regrouped and formed Black Spectre, an organization of black women dedicated to the overthrow of the American government — which firstly led the Mandrill to fight The Thing and Daredevil on his own. This conspiracy, which culminated on the White House lawn, was finally thwarted by the hero Daredevil with the help of Shanna and the Black Widow. This time, both the Mandrill and Nekra were defeated, although the Mandrill escaped capture.

Nekra was taken into custody by the espionage agency SHIELD, while Mandrill escaped. Forsaking his longtime ally, Mandrill, still dedicated to world conquest, organized the Fem-Force, another woman’s army composed of American radicals and dissidents. Aiding them was the third team of evil mutants Magneto had organized and abandoned, a group he called the Mutant Force. When his mutant allies were taken captive by the hero team Defenders, Mandrill sent the Fem-Force to the Indian Point Nuclear Power Generating Facility, where his father and mother were now employed, to seek revenge upon them. Once again opposed by the Defenders, Mandrill was stopped when his own mother shot him. Mandrill escaped capture, however, and was rescued by members of his army.

Later, Nekra had successfully raised her former ally, the Grim Reaper, from the dead, although he promptly killed her. Trying to get revenge on the Grim Reaper for her death, Mandrill confronted the Reaper, but was actually killed himself as the Reaper drained his body’s life-force.

Somehow, the Mandrill survived and was captured, shrunk using Pym Particles and sent to the experimental Ant-Hill prison. A massive break-out was stopped by the She-Hulk. The Mandrill was transferred to another prison, The Raft, from where he escaped.

The Mandrill joined Crossfire as a member of his team of evil mind-controllers, Crossfire’s Crew, but he was captured again, this time by Spider-Man.

The Mandrill recently joined the crime syndicate of The Hood, who would attempt to take advantage of the split in the superhero community. The Mandrill was sent to fight the New Avengers, but was defeated by Doctor Strange.
